Austin College to use GlyphEd to Improve Recruitment Strategies

Alexandria, VA, August 14, 2019 - GlyphEd™, the leading provider of interactive data visualization and insight discovery technology for college and university enrollment management teams, announced today that Austin College has selected GlyphEd for insight into the performance of their current recruitment program strategies. Austin College is a private liberal arts school located in Sherman, Texas.

GlyphEd’s data visualization software, based on two decades of academic and technical research into how the brain processes visual information, helps higher education administrators think different by allowing them to analyze student data in a single graphical representation called a Glyph. This approach provides unbiased context to student data and allows administrators to discover answers to questions they might not be asking yet.

“At Austin College, we are determined to continually make the conscious effort to create a thriving atmosphere for student success on our campus,” said Baylee Kowert, vice president for Institutional Enrollment. “To meet evolving enrollment goals, GlyphEd’s innovative data visualization software will provide the insights we need to maintain a high-quality, academic profile by identifying student populations that align with Austin College’s academics and values.”

In her role at the Austin College, Kowert oversees the admission and financial aid teams.

“GlyphEd understands the challenges schools like Austin College face in recruiting an academically strong and diverse class in a highly competitive environment, all while ensuring student success,” said Mark Sloan, founder and CEO of GlyphEd. “Austin College has shown a great commitment to their students through recent enrollment programs focused on prospective student personalization, and we look forward to amplifying their ability to discover the best candidates and provide actionable insights for new recruitment strategies.”

GlyphEd integrates with existing CRM and enrollment management data systems allowing higher education institutions to leverage their existing data and their current infrastructure. Schools such as the University of Notre Dame, Gannon University, John Carroll University, and the University of South Dakota, as well as higher education consulting firms, like RNL, use GlyphEd to improve student outcomes across recruiting, enrollment, retention, and research. Several schools also use GlyphEd within their data science curriculum.
